Alternative Wedding Photography Bucket List Update 2015
Last year I published a blog post here about my photography bucket list, instead of resolutions. It seems appropriate to give everyone a bit of an update on this.
From my original list I managed to officially tick off one item as DONE! This was this was the very emotional first look of Jemma and Jason.
I also photographed some incredible weddings that I could hardly have imagined in the year before, and would have been on the bucket list had I known... Some of the unexpected joys included: a wedding weekend, drag queen, humanist singing ceremonies, outdoors ceremonies, a reception in a field at the top of a hill, a reception on a boat, some amazingly cool looking brides and grooms and a whole selection of simply the most beautiful dresses and accessories. As well as this I have also been involved in two amazing styled shoots, one of which was on a beach so very nearly ticked off the list. I've been a very lucky lady!
Since originally writing my list, I've learnt more about my tastes and dreams and added many more items. Some of these include places I have visited, and thought "this would make an amazing wedding venue."
Last year and into the beginning of 2015 I have started to book in a lot of items on the list. I'm giddy with excitement for these, starting with an elopement in just a few weeks.
Below is my bucket list as it stands today. Heres to an exciting year ahead!
If you are incorporating any of these items into your wedding or life, please get in touch and let's talk.
BOOKED! But I have to wait for 2016... My biggest wish is to photograph a dog in attendance. I can't believe this hasn't happened yet!
Wedding with any animal in attendance. I would like to cross off a whole zoo from the list. Primarily a reindeer!
Here are some locations I would love to shoot at. Some as I have visited, and fallen in love with. Some I am just dreaming about!
BOOKED! Hello Rhodes! I would loooove to photograph a destination wedding anywhere!
Wedding in Disneyland/world
Wedding at Alton Towers. www.altontowers.com Particularly in the actual towers building itself... even more particularly in the conservatory part (where you que to go to the Sanctuary Scare Maze if that could ever happen).
Wedding at The Asylum, Peckham: I already love you if you can see the beauty in this place: asylumlondon.org
Wedding at Aynhoe Park. The perfect mix of stately home gorgeousness and the downright bizarre: www.aynhoepark.co.uk
Wedding at Mount Stuart, Roythsea, Scotland. This place is the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever seen: www.mountstuart.com
